Well not quite, but it did make for an interesting afternoon.

It started with 3 or 5 bees around the BBQ. Andrea asked me to go spray them, which I did. Shortly after whilst watching TV I heard a weird noise coming from the alfresco area. I looked around and was stunned to see 100s of bees swarming all over the BBQ.

We rang a bug exterminator places, they wanted around $200 to come out but couldn’t make it till the next morning. According to one of the places we called it was one of their busiest weeks dealing with bees!

Not wanting to wait until the next morning, as the dogs had to be kept inside, I took matters into my own hands. I found a bug-bomb in the garage that I set off and lobbed onto the BBQ. I then also sprayed them from the kitchen window. The sprays killed a few and must have annoyed the rest enough as they slowly disappeared.
